The studio is a fully finished 25’x30’ recording/rehearsal space. Included are two Gretsch drum kits side-by-side.
Paul’s kit is a mid 1990’s custom Gretsch:
- 22” x 18” kick
- 10” x 10” and 12” x 10” rack toms
- 16” x 16” floor tom
- 14” x 6.5” Pearl free floating maple snare drum
- Cymbals are Zildjian A Custom Series
The tour/studio kit is a Gretsch Catalina Ash:
- 22” x 18” kick
- 8” x 7” and 10” x 8” rack toms
- 12” x 10” and 14” x 14” floor toms
- 14” x 5” snare
- Cymbals are Zildjian and Sabian
Also used with the kits:
- 1970’s era 14” x 5” Tama snare drum
- 1980’s era 14” x 5” Ludwig Supraphonic snare drum
- Additional Latin and percussion instruments are used for recording and teaching.

When designing the studio we wanted to create a warm inviting atmosphere, where drums sound great and students want to learn. The space is open and roomy for all to enjoy without compromising the one-on-one attention to detail used for private instruction.
